I struggled on how many stars to give this bag at first. It is comfortable and lightweight. Not as small as some other backpacking sleeping bags I have but good for the price. However, the zipper broke on my first night. Just snapped right off. When I returned home I found out I had an email directly from the seller wanting to know how I liked the bag. I told him about the zipper, we had some conversations and figured it was just luck of the draw, a weak zipper and I was drew the Short straw. He assured me they hadn't had that problem before but would look into non the less. He offered me a full refund as well. I was so impressed with MalloMe's customer service and attention to their products that I would definitely shop their products again. I know with confidence that they care about the quality of their products and their customers.
I am so excited to use this. I bought it because my family goes camping a lot. We recently bought cots and I always bring a ton of blankets. I don’t care for regular sleeping bags because I’m a bigger gal and this double size sleeping bag is perfect. It’s very wide and soft. To test it out I took it to my daughters soccer game and I stepped in it and it worked great. It kept my body warm and the wind didn’t go through it. Love the color too. Thanks for helping a bigger gal get a nice sleeping bag!!
I and my spouse usually camp or backpack together. So, it really didn't make sense to carry two separate sleeping bags as they took a lot of space and carrying two separate bags felt cumbersome during some trips. This two person sleeping bag came as a solution to our needs. I am writing this review after camping for two nights using this sleeping bag. The product Arrived on time, in good condition, no damages at all. Compact and easy to carry bag. Could easily and perfectly fit this inside a Coleman 2-person tent (as shown in the pictures). Also, with proper folding, you can fit the sleeping bag back inside the carry bag and store it easily. We used this product while camping near the Yosemite valley and the temperature did get quite low during the night (nearly 35 - 40 degrees Fahrenheit) and the sleeping bag helped us stay warm. But I have not yet used this product during the winter or rain and I will update my review once I do. The instructions on how to separate this two person sleeping bag into two separate sleeping bags can be made a little more clear. Hence, I am deducting one star. Also, the instructions given ask us to leave the bag open for 48 hours before using the sleeping bags. I feel that this might not be very practical in many cases. But again, we couldn't do that and still ended up having a good experience overall. So no problems here!!
I used this to camp last weekend for the first time. I shared it with my 6yo daughter. We fit perfectly. I like that it zips on both sides so we uncover ourselves as needed. The inner lining of this sleeping bag is not the same as the outer like other sleeping bags I’ve used. It’s softer and warmer! It dropped to 48-52 degrees overnight. I initially fell asleep with regular blankets because my daughter went to bed before me. I didn’t want to bother her by climbing into the bag after she had fallen asleep. Well, I woke in the middle of the night freezing! As soon as I slipped into the sleeper with my kid, it instantly warmed me up! Totally worth the buy!
Bought the sleeping bag for my 10 year old granddaughter, and she loved it. She took it on a school field trip, and it worked perfectly for her. She was able to get it out and put it away by herself, no help from anyone. And, it kept her warm in the mountains!

Very nice sleeping bag - warm. I m not sure how warm it will be at 20 degrees (as rated) - but comfortable at 35.
I ordered one of these to use for summer camping with my kids. My 9 year old son loves to sleep in the same sleeping bag, so in the past, we've zipped two conventional sleeping bags together. However, we both sleep very hot, so we usually toss and turn our way out of a normal sleeping bag by the middle of the night. I was skeptical that this MalloMe Double Camping Sleeping bag would work for us, but it's been so great, I'm kicking myself for not ordering another one for my daughter. It's light weight, warm but not hot, the material for the inner lining and exterior is smooth and comfy, and it's roomy enough for an adult and young child. It washed easily in my front load washer, and it dried quickly. Plus, it packed up smaller than one of our conventional sleeping bags. Since it's so light, I doubt it would work for other seasons than summer and fall, but it's perfect for those two seasons.
I purchased this product as a Christmas gift for a local homeless man in my area. He already had a sleeping bag, but it was not in very good condition. He was very excited to receive this. After I few weeks I saw him again and asked if the sleeping bag was working okay for him. He told me that he absolutely loves it. He told me that it has been keeping him comfortable at night in the freezing temperatures, and he likes how small it gets when you put it back in it's bag so he can carry it with him during the day.
i used this when it was hot. it was great. The next night it was cold, still it was awesome! Both way awesome! love it.
However, whenever I try to put them back into the bag they provided (a bag for a sleeping bag), it was hard to fold and push them inside. i wish I could just tie it around and buckle it when I am done using. However, the bag is useful so that I can keep my sleeping bag clean. When I put it in a dirty trunk, my sleeping bag was still clean! IDK what I want. pros and cons. still this is a five star!
Bought 4 of these sleeping bags for my kids and I to use on a week-long camping trip. They arrived fast and in perfect condition. The kids were able to pack and unpack the bags themselves, as well as compress the carrying bags to make them more compact for packing purposes. We were in a warm climate, so I can't say anything about using them in a cold climate (yet), but they worked great for what we needed them for. Very comfortable, smooth zipper, "hood" on the top helped to keep our pillows from sliding out during the night. :) They are very lightweight and easy to carry too! The only problem we had was that one of the buckles on the compression straps broke the first time we went to pack it up. However, I contacted the company about it and they were awesome in their response. They followed up right away, asked to see pictures of the part that was broken, and after determining that there was no way to really fix it, they gave us a 50% refund on the sleeping bag to make up for it. I would highly recommend these sleeping bags not only for the quality of the bag itself but for the company's fantastic customer service. It's obvious that they care about customer satisfaction.
