Melissa & Doug Spin-a-Slice Pizza Matching Game for Kids (72 pcs Plus Spinner)

Melissa & Doug Spin-a-Slice Pizza Matching Game for Kids (72 pcs Plus Spinner)

Excellent game for the 3-5 year old crowd! I'm a former preschool teacher as well as mom, but now just spoil my niece and nephew. My nephew has frequent hospital visits and I picked this up for him to take with him. He easily learnt the rules and enjoys playing the game. I do wish more than 2 people could play at once. It would make stealing decisions quite a bit more fun. There's no reason the game couldn't be doubled for a family of 4, but it would be nice if it came with four pizza boards to start with. Regardless, he and I both love the game. He gets a real kick out of having to dump a whole pie. lol. Fun stuff.

My kids love pizza-so this game is right up their alley. I like that it is simple enough for pre-readers to play, but interesting enough that older kids can play too. My only negative is that it can get a bit frustrating for little ones if they keep hitting the lose a slice or pizza flip spots-it can definitely drag the game out. I wish those sections were smaller. Still ends up being fun for the whole family

I bought this game as part of an Amazon deal, along with three other games. My grandchildren, children and I had a lot of fun playing it. It's easy to play and the graphics well done. After all, who doesn't love pizza?

My only complaint is that the game is only designed for two players. We improvised using paper plates, planning to make our own "pizza" boards at a later date.

We bought this for our nephews for Christmas and surprisingly, even the two year old loved playing (we had to explain to him what to do when, but he was very engaged and loved playing it). Additionally, the kids all played with the pizza plates and pizza pieces totally separate from the board game play, so it really doubles as two different toys for kids. We ordered two in order to have double the number of "crusts/plates" to use so there wouldn't be any fight over the crusts/plates among the kiddos. Very fun family game!

My kids love this and not just for the way it’s meant to be played. They love mixing and matching their own pizza slices, pretending to cook it in their play kitchen, and serving it to the family and dolls. My 3 year old tells me which toppings are on every slice and even practices her fractions as she removes the slices. Definitely fun for multiple ages even if they don’t want to play by the rules!

I love the quality that goes into Melissa and Doug toys, so I knew this would be made well. I wasn't disappointed. My 3.5yr old loves pizza and loves this game! We have played with 3 people and have one of the older players build their pizza without the crust since the game is only designed for 2. There were plenty of pizza pieces for at least 3! I also really like that the game play is relatively short, as kids this age don't have the longest attention spans! Its a great time filler!

My son loves pizza games. He even pretends to make pizzas and deliver them to us, so I thought this game would be fun. He likes it and so do his cousins. They ask to play it every time they come over. I like that it's easy to play and there are two different ways to play. My son is 4 and his cousins are 5 and 7 and they have fun with this game.

Lots of fun to play, two player setup means it’s easy for one parent or sibling to play with him. Teaches counting, matching and turn taking.

I bought this for my 3.5 years old daughter. She loves to play the pizze game and memory game (by inverting all those pizza pieces). I thought this game was great but could be improved in several ways, such as adding more variety of pizza ingredients and designing the back of the pizza order card as a plate so it could be used to hold the pizza. I also think the chance of getting a pizza flop is a bit too high. I recalled in a game we got pizza flop 4 or 5 times and so we decided to stop the game because it got quite boring making the pizza from scratch again and again.

I bought this for elementary students and they love it. The kindergarten through 4th graders enjoy it the most. Every time they take it out of the game cupboard I jump at the chance to play it with them. I think I secretly love it far more than they do. I already want to purchase a second one for at home.
