These 4 reflective bands (and included carrying jersey-style drawstring neon green bag) are excellent. I thought wearing a reflective vest would look doofy while on a walk/run, so instead I got these Velcro reflective bands. They do the job I want and don't make me feel stupid wearing it. I am 6' 2" 230lbs and I wear them on my upper arm/biceps and it looks good. The bands in the bicep position fit just right (the Velcro is in the furthest position it goes -- at the edge of the strap -- but hangs on securely, with about 2 inches of Velcro surface). It does not fit around my thigh (even though it can stretch slightly) but it does fit below knee/top of calf. It fits fine around my wrists or ankles, and the material doesn't bother my skin (it's not scratchy or irritating)
Having been a cycle last for 15 years, I’ve used every type of pant leg strap, clip, bandanna you could think of. These have an extended length secure Velcro closure to go as tight or lose as needed for any trouser leg you wear. Very bright eye catching color in addition to the reflective strip. I ride a recumbent trike in cold weather. My pant leg allows cold air ingress. I’ve used these straps to keep warmer on those 40 degree days. You can tell I like this strap.
I often have to walk in the dark and I'm nervous about not being visible to cars. I got these to put on my arms and legs and (in addition to a flashlight) they make me feel much safer when having to walk on streets. I was worried about them being too small or too big but the Velcro is long enough that it should fit most people where they need it. You can even combine them together and put them around your waist if you want to. So far they seem very sturdy and good quality. I'm very thankful for this product.
I love these reflective bands: I'm a small person, yet unlike other reflective bands, these bands actually fit my ankles and my scrawny arms. These are super adjustable and can be used by my kids as well as myself. I like that they are also elastic so that they have some give to them. I used them to securely hold my pant legs out of the way while mountain biking. I rode for 2 hours in the snow today and they did a perfect job. I also like that they are machine washable and can be made into even larger sizes by combining them - like if I want to use it as a belt or around my pack for visibility.
We need to outfit our entire Race crew for the Race Across America bike race with safety equipment. These bands are long so we can use them on wrists, ankles, upper arms, wherever. And the little pouch makes it really easy to manage all the velcro as we'll be taking them on and off everyday for 9 days in pretty crowded SUVs.
The original purpose for why I bought these was for work. As at the time of purchase I worked outside at night and required high visibility so I would be less like to get hit by a car. However, when I received the product in the mail I no longer worked at that company and almost returned the product. So I decided it give it a lot minute shot and use them as temporary high visibility collars for my puppy when we walk him morning & night! It worked like a charm! And everyone absolutely loves the idea of a high visibility collar for dogs, including other pet owners, his puppy trainer and the vet! I’m so glad I was able to still put this product to good use! I am impressed with the quality and the brightness when light hits them. And they were packaged in a great little carry case inside of a nice plastic zippered pouch. This will make walking so much safer due to increased visibility. Think about all of the times you've been driving and you barely saw someone walking, running, or cycling as you came upon them. This simple band catches attention when light hits it.
