This terrarium is absolutely not water tight, which makes it excellent for succulents! I have a large succulent in mine and the clear sides make it easy to monitor soil dryness while the gaps in the soldering mean that I don't have to worry about overwatering. I just soak, drain, let it sit on a towel for an hour or two and hang it up again.
I bought this as a graduation gift for my niece. I sealed the openings with clear waterproof silicone to make it water tight and put a few succulent plants in it. She loves it.
I love this! It's very cute and stylish. I will forewarn, that though the product is made well and with high quality materials, when watering you'll need to have something underneath it/leave it in the sink/line it with plastic so it doesn't leak. I'd buy this again.
This terrarium is good for hanging but also for a tabletop. It is the perfect size and has one panel open in the front for easy access to plant. However, this terrarium is so cute it could be used for other decor as well. The color is exactly as pictured and it's sturdy. If you're looking for a terrarium to bring a little extra green to your house, I highly recommend this one.
