Got this set and an extra set of prepared slides for my 8-1/2 year old great-grandson's Christmas. He's a bit advanced for his age and loves learning about any and everything. And this microscope set opened up a new world for him to enjoy and investigate.

Came in a case and all the accessories. However, the slides were all over the place inside, and one was broken. I like the prepared slides to start the process quickly! Stems and bulbs of plants. My 6 year old is intrigued!
But for my grandkids for Christmas they seem to like it a lot it'll be fun when summer comes to look at all new things.
My daughter loves this microscope. Well made, easy for to use.
Purchased for usage by my 7 year old granddaughter who has stated that she is planning to be a doctor. She loves this gift.
