Overall very happy with the product. Scraper mechanism is convenient but doesn’t clean out the crushed product 100%. Also takes quite firm grip to function... is easy enough for me but other people have issues with it. Happy about purchasing and it truly looks beautiful. Delivery was quick and well packaged.
Very well worth the money - especially at the Amazon price, Very easy to use and clean. The nibbed flap and the plastic scoop add functionality that is very useful: the pressed garlic stays inside the tool, the nibs clean the pressing holes, and you press the scoop's lever to scrape the pressed garlic out of the press and into it's final destination. It may be hard to visualize until you try it, but the result is a tool that is very useful and rinses clean - no stuck garlic in the press holes.
It also presses ginger. In fact, I had an extremely woody piece of ginger that I was sure it could not handle - and I was both right and wrong: It was so woody the fibers would not mince, but the press simply juiced it instead. I got a large amount of ginger juice and tossed the now dry ginger fiber away,
There are no videos or instructions to show how to use this exact model. It is not self-cleaning in my book I find that I need to soak it to get every little bit out and run it under water as well. I do love the flap that pushes out the freshly pressed garlic and it is not too bulky for me to use
No complaints, does a great job and clean up is not a big deal as long as you rinse it after use and not let it crust on. It has a sturdy feel and doesn't seem like it's going to have any durability issues but I'll keep this updated if I do have any problems.
I have used a lot of garlic crushers over the years and this one is definitely the best. The little white scraper is ingenious and very useful. With its lifetime guarantee you will never have to buy another one. Definitely worth the higher price.

I have used this press several times a week for nearly a year. It's durable. I've had no problems at all with it. Makes it easy to get smashed garlic. Cleans easily too. I would definitely buy it again.
Love the garlic press! It's heavy, so dry hands are a must when using. Would be even better if it had grip hands to balance the weight of the device against the press action on your hands. The flip feature to remove the garlic from the press is awesome - don't have to worry about using a separate knife to scrape off the garlic.
