This hood is very well made. The stitching on seams are even and tight.The visor is large, very clear, and comes with a thin tissue tear-off paper cover to protect it prior to its first use. One note is that this hood is cut to hang long in the front and back...I have seen hoods that covered more of the shoulders, but this configuration this is not a problem. The elastic in the neck area is sized appropriately (it is not adjustable) so you should not have a problem maintaining positive air pressure inside the hood. There is an adjustable plastic band (headgear) that is attached to the inside of the hood at the top. The size of the headband is adjustable using the attached velcro tabs and does a good job of keeping the hood centered on the head. There is no quick lock attachment for your PAPR blower hose, but the Tyvek umbilical is sized to accommodate most standard PAPR hoses and clamps. I would HIGHLY recommend this item as a well designed & constructed PAPR hood that could easily be reused if it taken care of!!
Much better than the hood that came with my respirator. The way the hose fits into the back of the hood makes the air flow quiet and evenly distributed throughout the hood. Also stay in place when moving around.

I used this for my hazmat suit costume as part of a family E.T. costume, and it looked amazing! It was too hot to breath in it so I had to cut a hole under the face mask.
